Each violin student is expected to attend a weekly group class with Pasadena Suzuki Music Progam (PSMP).  Group classes are as important as private lessons and teach ensemble skills that can only be taught in a group format.  Students learn to play as an ensemble and learn to be both a leader and a follower.  Learning together and creating violin friendships help to boost motivation, enthusiasm and joy for learning. ​For students in middle or high school, an orchestra or chamber group can fulfill this requirement. Speak to the teacher about your options.
